Students will engage in self discovery and expression through story telling. Students will increase skills to connect with the world around them and develop reciprocity. The mission of Awakening Productions is to restore and develop the individuals voice by providing opportunity for expression in a safe environment.

The mission of Awakening Productions is to restore and develop the individuals voice by providing opportunity for expression in a safe environment. Students will engage in story telling through movement and music. Each student is encouraged to dance their story by choosing music that represents them, and collaboratively choreographing their piece.
About the Instructor
Adrienne Shearer graduated from The University of St. Thomas with a BA in drama. She currently works as a teaching artist for various theaters in Houston such as, The River, Theater Under The Stars, Main Street Theater and The AD Players. Miss Shearer has a passion for working with children in special populations, and works diligently to provide inclusive experiences for her students.
